Hey there, dear friends.
At this moment, I am taking a deep breath... sort of. What a week. The kiddos are in bed. Jason is at the town house working on the downstairs walls and bathrooms and kitchen. My cousins are coming over to help paint again so Jason is pulling a late night trying to be ready for them. We have to pack this week and get stuff moving... the goal is to be moved in and spend our first night next weekend...

Shiloh's surgery went very well. The doctor was able to get all of the rest of the nevus on her back and the scar as well. He warned us that it would be a little more tender at first and he was right... she was pretty much down for the count all day on Wednesday... in fact when we finally got her home, she had not had any pain medication since before her surgery at like 9AM... so by 2PM when we got her home, she looked at me with these big green eyes, filled with tears saying that her back hurt... it was so sad! She was pretty much taking Tylenol with Codeine all day. But the next day, it was as if she'd never even had surgery. She is so brave and so resilient. The doctor has her wearing an ace bandage wrapping her tummy and her back and that's the only thing she complains about (it itches). She won't have to wear it for much longer.

This week I started packing at home... the house is in utter shambles. Clothes everywhere... I'm trying to sell some dressers, so I have nowhere to put clothes... It's just out of control... but I know it is just temporary and we'll be moving soon, so I am more at peace with the situation.
We had a garage sale this weekend too... it actually was very productive!! We made over $300 selling the most random crap, things I never thought people would buy... the stuff I thought they'd buy they didn't, so I am going to try to post a bunch of stuff on craigslist. We're going to have minimal storage space at the town house for awhile so I want to bring as little as possible that has to be put away...
Tonight I put everything away a little early and headed over to my parents' going away party... had some good food and talked to other adults... got a little pic taken of us as we were on our way out the door...
Everyone was tired, as I am now... in fact, I am struggling to keep my eyes open now... so I must now publish this and go to bed...
More later, when I am more coherent. But for now, much love.
So very glad all went well with the surgery and sweet Shiloh is home safe!
