I was preggo with Noah here. Oh why oh why did I cut my hair? |
(this idea came from Casey Wiegand via Little Miss Momma)
I am weird because...
I get waaaaay too excited about chickens (and kittens - my husband adds).
I don't like watching movies with the lights off.
I am more touchy-feely with my husband around my family than I am with him at home on a daily basis.
I am a bad friend because...
I don't really want a lot of friends... I am content with a couple GOOD ones, and the rest I feel like I just probably hurt their feelings more times than not.
I don't return phone calls, or answer your call, if I simply do not have time to talk, no matter how much I love you.
I am a good friend because...
Those I love, I love to the depths of my being, with so much love I cannot express it.
I am good at being vulnerable with you if we're close.
I will cook excellent meals for you, I will bring you flowers, I will invite you to all my favorite places, I will really love on you.
I am sad because...
I am realizing that after all I am really going to miss this house... the quiet, the woods, the "home" we've made it to be.
I am $200 overdrawn, but somehow I really need to buy paint for the town house! There are a lot of bills in the middle there that need to be paid too. :(
I miss my hair. :(

February 2010 snow storm |
My son is home from his Puerto Rico/Southern Carribean adventure with his Dad, safe and sound.
We have such a great place to live after we leave this house.
My marriage is strong.
I have three of the most beautiful children, who bring me such joy in this life.
I got the bedspread from Saffron Marigold that I wanted two years ago, and don't have to long for it now, cause I love it so much :)
My garden did well this year and it's almost time for harvest. EEEP!
I realize that where we are right now in our life is a pressing that will result in a refinement spiritually, and a readiness for more of what God has called us to.
I am excited for...
The "big break" (financially) that is coming.
More of the fullness of God's calling on our lives to come to pass.
The opportunity to get on our feet at the new place, to live there and be able to save up and hopefully buy land and a home later.
Being back at our "old" church, the friendships we're rekindling there and what the future holds for us within that fellowship.
i love the post:-)
