a little satire.

This week, during a moment of frustration, my husband so lovingly referred me to the following video.

I have only been ... uh... twittering... tweeting... whatever... since about six weeks ago. I learned that to be an effective blogger, I need to tweet. So therefore, I now tweet. Though before I started this venture, I didn't do it much... I mostly stalked people on Facebook and updated my status there on occasion when I found something meaningful to say. Now I can "tweet" more meaningless things, more frequently. Laugh with me people, because you know it's true.

And today, I overheard my husband watching this video... and immediately I thought it was a commercial for Gardasil. I was wrong. And I realized, that I am part of the problem that the product being promoted here may fix. No, I do not own UGGs, but lately my knee high boot collection has reached a near climax. When you go out and every woman you see is wearing them, I suppose I need to find a new trend to start. See, now it's knee high boots, scarves, graduated bobs, and minivans all around me at my daughters preschool... And you know this is true, too. You may be one of them. I love you. I am one of them too. Sometimes. Sort of.
