garden update! we have germination...

Well, the waiting is over... and it didn't take too long. The soil is good, so those old seeds came to life in a jiffy.

I promised to post pics of our progress daily, but when the seedlings are oh so small, well, it's a little hard to see 'em from way up high. Now though, the radish seedlings are almost an inch high, so you can barely see them in the pictures, but you can see them nonetheless.

The weather has been great, a little dry, but the forecast calls for some rain tonight, which would be great for my garden.

Day 3 - 9/17/2011 -BOOORRRING...

But WAIT!! What's this!?!?! Some of the radishes and lettuce have sprouted!

Day 5: 9/19/2011 - I know these are sorta boring, but it'll be more exciting soon!!

Here are some of the collards - I planted three seeds at a time, so I am definitely going to have to thin.

And the radishes. They are the fastest to germinate and grow - they'll be ready for harvest in just two weeks!! I can probably do two rounds of these.

That's all for now on the garden. I am going to post some other goodies today for your reading pleasure... :)

Much love, friends.

Brooke
