this is a late night blog post

Sooo... it's late, and I should be in bed, but I had a cup of coffee at 7:30PM, and I am slightly wired. Turns out, having a cup of coffee at such an hour is actually a great source of motivation into the late night hours when one is looking for that extra "umph" whilst packing one's house all by her lonesome.

a couple days ago at the town house... Jason's old friend Mark was by to help.

Reality bites, though... 'cause Noah and Shiloh will be up at 6:30AM, and I will be tired then, no matter how awake I am right now.

I'm sorta watching Gold Rush, sorta working on a blog post... sorta drinking this here glass of wine, giving it time to sink in and bring me down.

Jason's BFF Sam built the wall you see behind you out of reclaimed doors.

Today we made a big push to get things moved to the town house. My poor husband has been working non-stop and even staying the night at the town house for the last three nights (tonight included) in order to get a little more sleep when he finally does go to bed and be able to get a head start over there when he does wake up. My stepdad and our friend Shane loaded their Expeditions and followed Jason over to the town house to deliver everything, and Jason's been there. :o(

I'm here packing the house. The bedrooms upstairs are done and I started working on the bathrooms which is a lot more involved than I anticipated. I moved all the big furniture downstairs tonight. The garage is still to be dealt with but I am not entirely worried about that because there are tons of piles of recycling down there!

Tomorrow we're sort of taking a "break" in the morning to go to Grandma's house (aka Mama C) to help her set up her tree. I have a feeling that's going to extend over into the night and tomorrow will be a wash of sorts in terms of continuing packing and working in the town house.

Now it's time for me to go to bed. It's 1AM and I shouldn't be up.
