family photos + wedding-ish/anniversary photos (PHOTO HEAVY)

I've been so excited to share these photos with you... I posted last week about our photo session with Christy Parry of Christy Parry Photography and I received the disc yesterday!! Yahoo!!

Christy runs a special on Wednesdays. If you live in the Atlanta area, and can do a shoot between 9AM and 6PM and travel inside the perimeter she has a special rate and I highly suggest you take advantage of it!

Jason and I did not have any real wedding portraits taken as we were so rushed on our wedding day to get out of the chapel we were married in. The person responsible for bringing the music we were to walk down the aisle to forgot it... and so our wedding started almost an hour late! We had to be out of the chapel by a certain time, and so we crammed in family photos with the intention of having portraits later but got so caught up in the craziness of the reception that we never had any portraits made... I've been pretty much heartbroken about it because you really can never recreate the magic of that day. If there is one thing you ought to spare NO expense on it's your wedding photographer!! This is the only thing that you get to keep from that day that means didly squat... alas, I digress.

So my hair is pretty much the same as it was when we got married... I've grown it out to my almost waist and then cut it all off again (don't ask me why, I won't do it again, though I've been through this cycle many times before), which inspired me to try for some portraits of us in our wedding attire (and yes, this is the same dress and veil I wore, though I must say, after two kids it was a weeee bit tighter). I added a little more of my personal style this time, and of course, included our kiddos for some really lovely photos.

So without further ado, here they are. ALL photos copyright Christy Parry!! All I can say is, I hope I don't crash Blogger when I publish this post!!

First off, my love and I (married 5 years this coming September 24th)

  1. How are you going to choose what to frame?! They're all gorgeous, Brooke! Also, you should be making money as a model. Yes, you should.

  2. I have nooo idea which one I am going to frame... it's gonna be so hard! And on the model thing... thanks! But I am too camera shy and not skinny enough. You have no idea how many frames I was laughing and goofing off in between my serious faces... but thanks I'll take the compliment! <3
